Born from a love of Louisiana living, Wrong Iron was inspired by the beautiful Lafitte Greenway that we proudly call home. Stretching over two miles through the city along an old disused railroad line, the Greenway set the perfect backdrop for our vision. Wrong Iron takes its name from the main railroad track where trains once ran in the opposite direction, a nod to our city’s rich railroad history.

Located in the heart of Mid-City, we’re surrounded by other locally owned businesses, all working together to revitalize the neighborhood. Our spot on the Lafitte Greenway allows us to contribute to a beautiful outdoor green space that everyone can enjoy.

At Wrong Iron, patio life is our business. Louisiana weather begs for time outdoors, so we made our patio the center of the experience. It’s spacious, welcoming, and perfect for slowing down, relaxing, and enjoying time with friends. Ride in on your bike, jog up with your pup, or just stroll over, our patio bar is ready to greet you with 50 beers on tap, wine, cocktails, and great food from the grill.
